So you’ve spent a semester learning Korean but you still can’t understand those words your colleagues has been saying?

You’re trying to listen to every word but you still didn’t hear those 요 or 습니다 which mark sentence ending? You’re starting to question the credibility of your Korean teacher and demand some sort of certification?

Fear not my friends! For i have come to save you!

I’ve compiled this list of Korean grammar so you don’t have to. Why, you asked me? Because i’m such a nice guy, that’s why. Yeah. This girl knows what i’m talking about –> “OMG OMG!! Yes. He is such a nice guy. One time i saw him giving his seat to this old lady on a subway car. OMG. Such. a. nice. guy.”  Yup. I’m nice like that.

I know, right? This google docs thing is pretty neat huh? How to do it you say? Here is a tips.

Review Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) di Korea

Sebenarnya dari dulu ingin menulis tentang ini cuma ada saja yang mengalihkan perhatian. Mumpung lagi agak longgar jadinya bisa menulis. Jadi kepikiran buat menulis tentang ITS ini juga di CISAK (Conference of Indonesian Student in Korea). Nulis ga ya?


Anyway,




Laporan dari ITIF (Information Technology & Innovation Foundation) tahun 2010 menempatkan Korea Selatan di urutan kedua dalam hal penerapan ITS di bawah Jepang dan di atas Singapura dan Amerika Serikat.


Sewaktu saya datang ke Korea tahun 2010, saya terkesan dengan sistem transportasinya yang serba otomatis. Ada road navigation system, biling kartu transportasi, electronic toll, smart traffic, dll.


Pertengahan tahun 2010, di BEXCO (Busan Exhibition & Convention Center) berlangsung World ITS Expo dan kebetulan proyek cyber convergence security di lab saya ikut dipamerkan sehingga name tag saya tulisannya “exhibitor” (untung bukan exhibisionist).  Pulang dari expo, saya membawa banyak sekali brosur-brosur penjelasan inovasi ITS berbagai negara maupun perusahaan otomotif sekelas Toyota, Honda, BMW, Hyundai, dll.


Kebetulan juga di daftar acara saya melihat ada semacam presentasi dari Menteri Perhubungan RI beserta staf. Mudah-mudahan apa yang didapat di expo ini dapat dipelajari beliau dan diterapkan di Indonesia.

Untuk membangun sistem transportasi seperti di atas, investasi pemerintah Korea sebesar $3.2 triliun dari 2008 sampai 2020, per tahun sebesar $230 juta atau sekitar Rp 2 triliun (Yah, masih lebih mahal dari gedung DPR~)




Hasil scannya agak miring sekitar 7 derajat. :p


Sebetulnya mau menulis tentang sisi teknis dan teknologi-teknologi yang digunakan. Tapi, karena sudah melihat gambar-gambar banyak dan mulai melihat tulisan lagi, mungkin sebagian besar pembaca sudah malas.
